About Shehanly
Shehanly started as a small set of utilities built to solve everyday problems without the clutter most tool sites carry, and has grown into a fifteen tool suite maintained by a single developer.
Shehanly is an independently run website, not a large company. It exists to give people fast access to small, specific tools, like a hash generator or a barcode maker, without asking them to create an account, install anything or dig through pop-ups to find the actual tool.
Every tool is built and maintained by the site owner directly. Client-side tools run entirely in your browser using standard web APIs such as the Web Crypto API and Canvas. The handful of tools that need a server, including document conversion, temporary email and the AI assistants, talk to a small PHP proxy on this domain so that no third-party API key is ever exposed to your browser.
The site is supported by advertising, which pays for hosting and ongoing development. Ads are kept separate from the tool interface itself so they do not interfere with actually using the site.
