This page explains what happens to your data when you use the tools on this site, in plain language rather than boilerplate legal text.

Most tools on this site, including the encoders, formatters, generators and counters, run entirely in your browser. Your input for those tools is never sent to any server and disappears when you close or refresh the tab.
A small number of tools need a server to work: PDF and Word conversion, the temporary email inbox, the IP and DNS lookup tool, and the two AI assistants. For these, the data you submit is sent to this site's own PHP proxy, forwarded to the relevant third-party provider to produce a result, and is not intentionally logged or stored afterward. Uploaded files for conversion are deleted from the server once the conversion finishes or fails.
This site uses Google AdSense to show advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can review or adjust personalised advertising through Google's own settings at adssettings.google.com, and read Google's policies at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Analytics are not currently in use on this site. If that changes, for example by adding Google Analytics, this policy will be updated first to describe what is collected.
